Yelling crowd in Striker Pro

Post by Philipscdi.com » Sun Oct 23, 2005 11:38 pm

Has anyone listened closely to what the crowd is shouting in Striker Pro? I'd like to see what other say it sounds like...

Wow, that triggers a flashback! I thought this was in the dutch cd-i magazine once. If I remember correctly, the players (or only the referee) did a little dance after a certain action. And the crowd could sing different songs, but my-god that's a long while ago....

Nice one to remember!

i dug up some old material, and this is from a philips-spokeperson who told me about a little programmer-joke Rage implemented in this game.

"At certain circumstances your player will walk to the middle point, starting to sing 'My Way'. This happens when you hit the ball in your own goal, but it doesn't happen with all teams or conditions."

Anyway, hats off to the one who can tell me how to do this!

Damn!!!! I used to play this game for hours and hours and hours! I never knew this. At some point, The only way I could break my own record was by starting to make own-goals... So I guess I always played with the wrong team!
So we know the team NOT to try it with is Belgium. :)

I'd like to bump an old topic, especially for Mathijs:

Matthijs, what do they sing?

Seems I never answered that, did I?

It sounds to me like they are saying 'Sieg Heil!'. Listen closely, and you'll hear these two words followed by three handclaps!

As I said earlier, I used to play this game for hours and hours. I never payed any attention to it until my mother noticed it. I couldn't stop hearing it then - you know how that goes.

So Bassie - If you can call me Matthijs, I can call you Bassie, ok? - play the game and tell me what you hear!
