Anything relating to CD-i can be discussed in this forum. From the multiple hardware iterations of the system to the sofware including games, reference, music and Video CDs. Maybe you hold an interest in Philips Media and the many development houses set up to cater for CD-i if so then this is the forum.

Now, I have NO idea what your talking about.

However, let me take a wild guess. Have you somehow made a conversion adaptor so that the Genesis Pad works with CD-i perhaps?

There is no 'secret project'. Gamgators ebay shop does exist, but that's no secret

"News coming soon"

You only feel the 'coming soon' part must be over by now ;)

That's a clever strategy! Perhaps Devin's first guess wasn't bad at all...

That would be pretty awesome if he did make some sort of adaptor for a Genesis to CD-i linker!

If I remember correctly all sorts of peripherals worked with the Gensis/Megadrive and not just the ones targetted at that particular system! I've used the Genesis controller with my Amiga as an example, perhaps Amiga stuff would work on the Genesis as well?

It's surprising how much these things can actually cost to make!

Of course it might not be for everyone, but you have to admit it's pretty cool to see a conversion adaptor to use the old Genesis controller with your CD-i.

this is a great tool, looking forward to some extensive testing review :D

Well, I have to take back my earlier remarks I guess...

I find it amazing (in positive sense) how much time some people put in their cd-i hobby, and the effort they take.

The existence of the cd-i emulator and this game port adapter is a proof (and result) of that :!:
