Anything relating to CD-i can be discussed in this forum. From the multiple hardware iterations of the system to the sofware including games, reference, music and Video CDs. Maybe you hold an interest in Philips Media and the many development houses set up to cater for CD-i if so then this is the forum.

Thanks to all who helped test out Frog Feast for the CD-I, your efforts have helped to ensure the product should run on any CD-I player.

And, a special thanks to Devin for keeping the hope of a Frog Feast for the CD-I alive. Your posts have helped motivate me to finish it.

What are the thoughts about the cover?

I really like this design. I can't wait to see it up close and personal.

Great work Charles, I can't believe we have a brand new game demo available for CD-i in 2007.

That's quite an achievement for what many coders would have run a mile from! Covers look fantastic, the quality we come to expect from Mr Bivins graphical design work. One concern however, I can see the cover is labeled 'DEMO/50'. Asking a silly question but I assume the CGEXPO Edition IS the full final release of Frog Feast? Flies included :D

I like the cover. Any chance of getting one of these, signed by you personally?

It was nice working with you; unfortunately programmers who are not afraid of digging into assembly language and low-level system details are becoming increasingly rare. And the amount of CD-i documentation you seem to have internalized in the last few weeks is truly staggering!

Now I'm like dying to see the exit credits

It says demo instead of the number the published artwork will be numbered
from: 01 / 50 all the way to 50 / 50. It is the complete game. Remaining
copies "which I'm sure there will be" will be available on our website when
we return the first week of August.

Make no mistake: Frog Feast is done, and 100% complete and functional. :)

RW, how would we handle this?

I had thought of adding some interactivity to the exit screen, but since it shows right before exiting the game, I wasn't sure it was worth it. I wanted the Frog to lick each person, based on moving the joystick up/down or left/right.

Will Charles be there?

PEAS & CARROTS, my friend . . .

Post by GAMGATOR2000 » Tue Jul 24, 2007 4:27 pm

Devin & CGE2K7 & GATOR & RW go together like . . .
As Forest Gump would say:
PEAS & CARROTS

You'd have to see us all together to understand, I guess . . .

My momma always said,

I can send you some inserts to autograph. I was actually going to
ask if you could sign a copy for me as well. I'll ship you a package
when we return from the show as discussed. :D

Yeah... A CGE without Devin being there is kinda boring.
Oh well... guess I'll have to go to the UK now...

Unfortunately nope. I should've planned a little better this year. A flight to Vegas probably would've been pretty cheap.

Here's an ad I threw together for the game (Scaled down from print resolution):

The ad was slightly inspited by Kemco ads from the early 90's.
