Anything relating to CD-i can be discussed in this forum. From the multiple hardware iterations of the system to the sofware including games, reference, music and Video CDs. 'They' frightened us the battery lifetime of the CD-i player was about 10-15 years. So it is supposed to be a hot item in the following years to come, and perhaps most CD-i players will simply disappear, as loads of people don't want to take the time and effort to replace the battery. What about you?

No, strange considering I have a whole bunch of CD-i players. Guess they've been stored at optimal conditions to last the lifetime of the batteries!
